For Wil · Beach Golf Cart Co
Two design directions to react to
These are two choices that i whipped up just to give you an idea of what I was thinking you were saying. Obviously there are a million upgrades we need (pictures of e-bikes, ANC logo and ideally the gallery is just their models, they would love that ha ha ha, standardize on a single phone number, online reservation system that lets people know what is currently available, your actual logo, etc etc. I just wanted to deliver something so you had an idea of what i heard from our phone call.

What's still open — even after picking a direction
A more complete punch-list than the one in the note above. Anything here that you decide on now saves time on the next pass.
Content the site still needs
- E-bike photos. We didn't get any. Card currently uses an illustration with a "photo coming" pill.
- ANC logo — placeholder badge in both versions until you send the real one.
- Your own logo. Both versions use a placeholder wordmark I drew. If you have or want a real brand mark, swap in.
- Photos of Wil and the team. Humans on the site build trust fast. Even one casual shop photo helps.
- A short "About / how we got here" paragraph from Wil in his own voice. One paragraph is enough — handwritten beats marketing-y.
Pricing & policies you haven't decided yet
- Daily is $98 (from your sign) — what about weekly or multi-day rates?
- Scooter pricing? E-bike pricing?
- Delivery fee structure — flat, distance-based, free over $X?
- Hours of operation — seasonal? year-round? winter reduced?
- Reservation policy — deposit required? cancellation window? minimum age to rent?
- Insurance & waivers — should waiver text/PDFs live on the site?
Single phone number — which one?
- Right now both sites show 267-307-3534 and 609-972-6337. You mentioned standardizing on one — which? (Local 609 reads "real Wildwood business" to vacationers.)
- Should we keep the second as a fallback in the footer, or fully drop it?
Reservation system
- You mentioned wanting "online reservations that show what's currently available." Build options ranked by effort:
- Simple inquiry form → email → manual confirm (easy, no inventory truth).
- Calendar booking app embed (Calendly / Square Appointments) — shows time slots but not which cart.
- Real per-cart inventory + dates — needs a small backend or a service like Booqable / Twice / Rentle. Real cost, real upside.
- How much does Wil care about "that specific yellow cart" bookability vs "a 4-seater for these dates"? Changes the build a lot.
Gallery direction
- You said Wil would love the gallery to be just the ANC models — once we have those, we'd replace the mixed photo set. Need: clean studio-style photos of each model, or links into ANC's media library.
- Per-model spec sheets (seating, range, A/C yes/no, price)?
Old vs new presence
- Keep the "we've moved from 2604 Pacific Ave" line, or retire it once a season has passed?
- Should the existing Facebook page get any prominence beyond a footer link?
- Anything to do with the Wildwoods NJ tourism listing (it still says "Beach Golf Cart Co" + 609 number — does the listing need updating?)
Tech / launch decisions
- Domain — does Wil have one? Renew or buy? (beachgolfcartco.com? beachgolfcart.com?)
- Hosting — same as before, or fresh? Static HTML is happy on almost anything.
- Email — keep [email protected] or move to something @yourdomain?
- Analytics — yes/no? Google Analytics, Plausible, or none?
- SEO basics — Google Business Profile claimed and up to date? Hours, photos, the new address?
- Reviews — anywhere we should pull testimonials from (Google reviews, FB recommendations)?
Accessibility & legal
- ADA-compliant carts in the fleet — should they be called out as a category?
- Privacy / cookie language — only needed if we add analytics / forms; ignore otherwise.
Brand voice — for the next pass
- Is "family-run" how Wil wants to be described? Any team members or family members to name?
- Tone: closer to the breezy / playful Choice 2, or the buttoned-up Choice 1?
- Color: anything Wil already considers "his" colors (truck color, shop color, ANC corporate colors)?
